마코라마(MAKORAMA)는 서울 관악구의 시각 디자인 스튜디오입니다. 기획, 편집디자인, 맞춤 인쇄가 한 흐름으로 이어집니다.
MAKORAMA is a visual design studio in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where planning, editorial design, and bespoke print flow as a single process.
좋은 디자인보다 맞는 디자인을 먼저 생각합니다. 우리는 브랜드와 원고의 맥락을 먼저 읽고, 그 위에서 기획을 세웁니다. We look for the right design before the "good" one. We read the context of a brand and a manuscript first, then build the plan on top of it.
주로 서브컬처 단행본 표지와 본문 조판, 독립출판과 동인지 표지·내지, 만화·웹툰·게임 IP·버튜버의 굿즈 기획·디자인, 관공서·지자체의 포스터와 행사 디자인, 소상공인 브랜딩을 다룹니다. Our work covers subculture book covers and typesetting, covers and interiors for indie and fanzine titles, goods planning and design for comics, webtoons, game IPs, and VTubers, posters and event design for public institutions, and small-business branding.
인쇄는 종이 선정·인쇄타입·후가공이 각기 다른 공정을 거치는 까다로운 작업입니다. 마코라마는 디자인 단계부터 인쇄 전후 과정을 전제로 설계하고, 합리적인 예산 안에서 제작 프로세스를 조율합니다. Print is demanding work — paper selection, print method, and finishing each pass through a different process. From the design stage onward, MAKORAMA plans around the full print workflow and coordinates production within a sensible budget.
